Hey city of wonder gamers. In this post, I would like to bring you through the process in Research Agriculture. Click on the build icon at the bottom. This will bring several option. Roll over the first option on the left that is marked agriculture.
Research agriculture means that you plant, grow and harvest to make food for your population. Completing the research, you will be able to unlock irrigation and fermentation. Also you might be able to build hanging gardens that help boost your buildings ratings. Right below it states that the research is FREE.
The research agriculture cost $0 and takes about a minute to finish. Since this is the first step into the city of wonder game, Playdom has been kind enough to provide this component for free. Also, there is a facility for instant research to be done. You can use the wizard Pythagoras for instant research. This means for research agriculture, you do not have to wait for a minute for it to end research. Once again, this component is provided free so as to keep play moving.
Click on Instant Research and a pictorial of Pythagoras is splashed on screen. It says that research is done.
And VOILA! Your pretty cultural advisor will announced that you had discovered agriculture and that you have been awarded 20 experience (xp) points.
Good day city of wonder gamers. When you first start the city of wonder game, you will immediately be asked to do a research on agriculture. This is essential as without agriculture there is no food. No food means no one will want to stay in your city of wonder town or village.
When you open up the city of wonder game for the first time, you will be splattered by a message by your cultural advisor who request that you do some research on city of wonder agriculture. If you click on the economic advisor and military advisor, they will also agree that a research on agriculture is of priority. I mean it does make sense. After accomplishing agriculture, the game will unlock further fermentation and irrigation.
Hey city of wonder gamers. As in every game, city of wonder game also offers daily bonuses. However, interestingly, the bonuses are clearly shown.
As I am on my first day in the city of wonder game, my daily bonus is 1100 of those coins. If you press the “Like” button, you will get an additional 10% of those coins. I suppose this is an effort for them to make their game viral. The third bonus is called the “Come Back Bonus”. In this case, I have and additional 100 coins.

In the capital bulletin, you will be informed of Playdom’s latest news and offerings in the city of wonder game. For example, in this bulletin, Playdom has offered a starter pack to hasten your town development. The starter pack has a trojan horse, mystic shrine and loads of coins and legends. I think this is necessary and great idea because it will not bog the player till they lose interest in the game.
The straw hut is the cheapest of all residential building in the city of wonder game. It cost about 2000 coins and takes 30 seconds to build. You will gain 5 residents every 4 minutes. However a straw hut is what it is, light and unstable against strong winds. A completed straw hut will gain you 10 xp.
The next available house is a floral hut. It is basically a hut made of straw but is complemented by floral arrangement. It will cost 2000 coins and will boost you with 10 xp. It takes 30 seconds to build and gain you 10 residents every 8 minutes.
A primitive hut is much sturdier and cost about 4000 coins. It gains you 20 xp and 25 residents every 24 minutes. It takes 30 seconds to build.
The straw lodge are better and much sturdier than the abovementioned huts. Cost a lot a more at 9000 coins and it gives you 45 xp. You will gain 48 residents every 48 minutes.
The egyptian house is a top notch house that is made from “special imported materials”. It takes 5 seconds to build and gets you 150 xp. You will gain 100 residents every one hour. Of course it will cost you a lot more at 23 gold bars.
